Andrea Deering Nagy is a lifelong, multidisciplinary artist who attended the Ontario College of Art & Design University in the drawing and painting program; in addition to Conestoga College in their Bachelor of Design program; and has graduated from the University of Hertfordshire's MA Graphic Design.

She has competed in THEMUSEUM's exciting Brush Off competition multiple times. Andrea's work is usually abstract in nature and places a strong focus on colour, texture and form.

She is also a professional graphic designer, with clients who include The Jazz Room, The Uptown Waterloo Jazz Festival, THEMUSEUM, Belmont Village Bestival, and MAST!

During the pandemic Andrea started exploring creating with fibre arts, including macrame, knot making, and circular weaving. This has become a bit of an obsession, leading to the popular Flora and Fauna collection created with macrame and hand painted wooden sola flowers.
