Contemporary landscape and abstract artist versatile in the use of mixed media, primarily oil, acrylic and watercolours.  Pieter’s main artistic work expresses his love and respect for the natural world with colourful abstracts.  Pieter studied at the Doon School of Fine Arts (under Tom Cayley), the Ontario College of Art and Design, and University of Guelph. His work has been shown in numerous solo and group exhibitions, and sold to collectors in North America, Brazil, Scotland and the Netherlands.
